Family-owned remodeling

A remodeling crew for more than the bathroom.

Motivational Construction started with safety showers and baths. The same insured crew now writes a professional estimate for any remodel — kitchens, roofs, decks, tile, paint, doors, and the repairs in between — from Memphis to Jackson, including the cities between them, plus Southeast Wisconsin and Greater Houston.

Insurance

We fight the claim. You don’t pay for that.

Every remodel gets a professional written estimate — a bathroom, a kitchen, a roof, or a job that doesn’t have a tidy name. The estimate is free.

If insurance should be paying, we document the damage, price the repair, and deal with the company to get the claim approved. There is no fee for that help. The insurer still makes the decision. Our job is to put a complete case in front of them and stay on it.

Start a roof or claim estimate

Start here

What are you actually trying to fix?

Pick the closest match. We’ll narrow the services and preload the estimate — you can still change every field.

Services

Baths first. Not baths only.

Every service is in play, including roofs. Baths are the specialty; the estimate covers any remodel.

Safety showers & baths

Low thresholds, seating, and grab bars that don’t look clinical — plus tile that can take daily use. This is the work the company was built on.

  • Curbless and low-step entries
  • Benches, bars, and handhelds
  • Waterproofing before the pretty tile

Roofs

A professional roof estimate, then the repair or replacement itself. Storm damage, a worn-out roof, or a leak that keeps coming back.

  • Written estimate you can hand to anyone
  • Repair or full replacement
  • Photos and measurements included

Kitchens

Cabinets, counters, backsplashes, and the plumbing that makes a new layout actually usable. Kohler fixtures when they belong in the design.

  • Layout before demo
  • Counters, tile, and paint as one finish
  • Fixture supply on request

Full bathrooms

Vanities, lighting, and layout — and the unglamorous parts: vents, doors that close, and a room you can clean.

Walk-in tubs

For households that want to stay in the house. We install walk-in tubs, including wider-door models, and keep the room looking like a home.

Custom shower doors

Framed or frameless, sized to the opening you have — not a catalog photo that almost fits.

Decks

New decks and repairs. Railings, stairs, and boards that are safe to walk on.

Paint & drywall

Finish paint, patches, and the walls around a remodel so the new room doesn’t stop at the doorway.

Tile

Floors, showers, and backsplashes. Straight lines, even grout, corners that meet.

Doors & repairs

Interior and exterior doors, trim, and the smaller jobs that keep a house working between big remodels.

On safety showers we install walk-in tubs, including wider-door models, and solid-surface showers from lines like Onyx. Kohler fixtures are available when they fit the design. We don’t pretend every job needs a catalog upgrade.

The company

Family-owned, and still on the tools.

Stuart Swanson owns Motivational Construction Inc. He has more than ten years in the trade. The people doing the work bring about fifty years between them. The point of the company is simple: the job should look right and be safe to use — a shower you can step into, a kitchen you can cook in, a deck that doesn’t move underfoot.

If you’re a homeowner, a son or daughter planning for a parent, or an agent who needs a finish crew, you get the same estimate. Tell us the room. We’ll tell you if we should take it.

Finishes

The standard we build toward.

Stone, glass, oak, and paint — the materials we plan around. These frames show the standard, not a photo of your house. The estimate starts with pictures of the real room.

How an estimate goes

Four steps. No package pitch.

  1. 01

    Send the room

Call, text, or use the form. Photos, rough size, and what has to stay make the estimate faster.

  2. 02

    Professional estimate

A written estimate for any remodel: a bath, a kitchen, a roof, or a job that doesn’t fit a category. No fee. If insurance is involved, this is the scope we take to the company.

  3. 03

    Materials & sequence

Fixtures, tile, and paint decided before the messy part. We’ll say what happens first if more than one room is involved.

  4. 04

    Build & walk through

An insured crew, a scope you agreed to, and a walkthrough before we call it done.

Questions

Before you call.

Do you estimate any remodel?

Yes. Baths, kitchens, roofs, decks, paint, tile, doors, and jobs that don’t fit a label. You get a professional written estimate, and it is free.

Do you do roofs?

Yes. We inspect, measure, and give you a roof estimate, then repair or replace it. Send photos of the roof and of any ceiling stains.

Will you help with my insurance claim?

Yes, and that help costs you nothing. We document the damage, write the estimate, and deal with the insurance company to get the claim approved. The company still makes the decision. We stay on it until they have a complete case.

Do you only remodel bathrooms?

No. Safety showers and baths are the specialty. The same crew also does roofs, kitchens, decks, doors, tile, paint, drywall, and smaller repairs. If it isn’t a fit, we’ll say so.

How do I get a free estimate?

Call, text, or email. Send photos, rough dimensions, and anything you already know about materials. You can do it in person, by phone, or by text — tell us which you prefer.

Are you insured?

Yes. Motivational Construction Inc. is fully insured and bonded.

Where do you work?

Mississippi (Oxford, Southaven, Tupelo, Grenada, Batesville, Jackson, and the cities in between), Memphis and nearby Tennessee, Southeast Wisconsin (Kenosha, Lake Geneva, Milwaukee), and Greater Houston. If your town sits between two cities we list, we cover it.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the scope. A door or a paint job is not a gut bathroom. We’ll give you a range with the estimate and tell you what would change it — hidden damage, material lead times, or adding another room.

Can you help a parent stay in the house?

That’s a large part of the shower and tub work: lower entries, seating, grab bars, and walk-in tubs, planned so the bathroom still looks like theirs.

When can I reach you?

Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm Central. Saturday and Sunday the office is closed. Texts and emails sent over the weekend are returned the next business day.
